Welcome to Marg Jet Packers and Movers (“Marg Jet Packers and Movers”, “we”, or“our”).
This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes in what circumstances cancellations by customers can be made and refunds claimed. The policy has been implemented to provide transparency, fairness and clarity for both the customer and the company.
By accepting booking or using our services, you are not the right to do so implies acceptance of this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Service Booking and Advance Payment
Advance payments (included in the e-mails sent by some companies) are sometimes necessary to reserve manpower and trucks, or purchase boxes.
Paying in advance allows us to allocate resources specifically for your move or logistics need.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by the Customer
- Cancellation Before Service Commencement
- In the event a cancellation request comes through prior to packing/leaving facility the customer can be reimbursed partially/in full based on how much has been prepped.
- Administrative handling fees or service charges may be subtracted.
- Cancellation After Packing Has Started
- Cancellation charges may also apply if packing materials or labor has been used.
- You will be charged for the cost of returned packing materials, labor and prep work from any refund.
- Cancellation After Vehicle Dispatch
- If the car has been called out, the booking will be considered as a last minute cancellation.
- When this happens, no refunds for operational or logistical expenses will be made.
- Same-Day Cancellation
- A refund will not be issued for cancellations on the day of service.
Cancellation by Marg Jet Packers and Movers
Marg Jet Packers and Movers has the right to rearrange or discontinue any services under conditions such as:
- Incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer
- Non-availability of access, permissions, or cooperation at the pickup location
- Non-payment or delayed payment
- Natural calamities, strikes, roadblocks, government restrictions, or force majeure events
In such cases, customers may be offered:
- Rescheduling of services, or
- A Partial refund, less costs have been incurred
Refund Policy
Eligibility for Refund
Refunds are considered only when:
- Cancellation is done within the allowed limit
- Services are not completed either partially or entirely.
- The company has successfully received payment
Non-Refundable Situations
No refunds are granted in:
- Services already completed or substantially executed
- Vehicle dispatched or goods loaded
- Incorrect service details provided by the customer
- Delays or cancellations due to force majeure events
- Customer unavailability on the scheduled service date
Refund Processing Timeline
- Refunds which have been approved are processed within 7-10 business days
- Refunds are processed back to the original method of payment.
- Bank or Payment gateways have a different function, processing time.
Rescheduling Policy
- Rebooking subject to availability. Customers can ask for rescheduling the service
- Rescheduling of classes need to be informed at least 24-48 hours prior.
- Further charges apply according to new dates, distance and resource allocation
No-Show Policy
If the customer or their certified agent is not present to pick up on the scheduled date and time:
- The service will be tagged as a No-Show
- No refund will be provided
- Extra fees may apply for rebooking
Special Services Disclaimer
For specialised services such as:
- Vehicle transportation
- Pet relocation
- Plant relocation
- International shipping
Different cancellation and refund policies may apply to more complex services or third-party activities. These will be advised at the time of booking.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a cancellation or refund:
- For the issue, customers need to contact our support team within 48 hours of receiving.
- All determinations by the company will be made in good faith, based on service records and agreements and operational logs.
- The Company’s decision will be final.
Policy Amendments
Refund & Cancellation Policy: Marg Jet Packers and Movers may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time so please review it frequently. Amendments will be in effect from the day they are posted on the website.
Governing Law
GOVERNING LAW This policy is governed by the Indian laws. In case of any disputes, the documents will be governed by Indian law.
